The Verdelho grape, like the Khakibos (Tagetes Minuta), is a newcomer to the foothills of Stellenbosch.
Stemming from distant shores, both are remarkably comfortable in the unique Cape climate.

The grapes were delicately whole bunch pressed and naturally fermented in 3rd fill French oak barrels, only the free run juice was used. The wine was allowed to mature on lees for a year.
